The Pangea Mat & Cutter allows students to explore the role of data and models in science. For many, it replaces a cut-out activity wherein a photocopy of the continents is cut up and Pangea is reassembled. Instead of 20 minutes to get to Pangea, the Pangea Mat & Cutter allows access in less than 5 minutes, allowing time for discussions.
